Location
Villa Pashalia is located in the sought-after region of Northeast Corfu, close to Avlaki beach between Kassiopi and San Stefanos. The villa is less than a 100m walk along a beach path to a secluded beach and bay for swimming and paddle-boarding.
The fishing village of Kassiopi with its ancient castle, tavernas, shops and boat hire is only a 5 minute drive or 30 minute stroll away. The charming waterfront village of San Stefanos, popular with teenagers in the evenings, is less than 10 minutes drive or taxi away via Avlaki beach which itself has two delightful tavernas which one can walk to from the villa in 15 minutes if not in the mood for driving.
The villa is a 50 minute drive from the airport and Corfu Town. Corfu Town was ruled by the Venetians from the 14th-18th century and is a wonderful warren of cobbled alleys and squares, with churches, tavernas and shops, and is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Booking a boat with a skipper from Kassiopi to Corfu Town for dinner and back is a real treat!
The coastline between Villa Pashalia and Corfu Town is dotted with delightful bays each of which has tavernas with jetties should you wish to rent a boat from Kassiopi for the day. Meanwhile, the hills behind, especially the famous Mount Pantokrator, provide excellent hiking and biking trails, and stunning wild flowers in the spring months.
